Untimely Ratha Yatra Halted In Rajasthan After SJTA Intervention: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration(SJTA) has opposed the untimely Ratha Yatra scheduled to be held on Friday in the Sikar district of Rajasthan. After the intervention of SJTA, the Rajasthan administration has halted Ratha Yatra.
Sikar District Magistrate Ashish Modi issued directions to stop the Rath Yatra, acting on a letter sent by Dibya Jyoti Parida(Puri Collector). According to the source, the proposed event was scheduled to be organised by Vishwa Sanatan Dharma Seva Sansthan and Shri Khatu Shyam Mandal in the district. Acting on reports circulating on social media and in newspapers, prompt action has been taken.

It has been stated that all organizations must strictly adhere to scriptural norms and the traditional almanac when organizing any festival associated with Jagannath culture, otherwise, stern action will be taken in the future.
