UP women will get Rs 50, 000, Yogi government busy in preparing blueprint: Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections in 2027, the Yogi government is planning to financially support women. Yogi government is preparing a blueprint to implement a new scheme to provide Rs 50, 000 as financial assistance to eligible women of Uttar Pradesh.
According to sources, the first installment of Rs 20,000 will be provided to eligible women before the assembly elections. The purpose of the proposed scheme is to provide financial support to women and to connect them with self-employment and self-reliance. Later, under the proposal Rs 10, 000 will be given in 3 more installments after the formation of the new government.
It is worth noting that a similar model was adopted in Bihar, where the then Nitish government sent Rs 10,000 each to women’s accounts. The Yogi government will launch this scheme simultaneously for women in both rural and urban areas.
