Superstar Vijay’s party TVK has secured the magic number required to form the government. After the announcement of support from the Left and VCK, the path is clear for Vijay to become the Chief Minister.
After this news, there is a festive atmosphere in Tamil Nadu. After Vijay’s closest ally and MLA Adhav Arjun reached his residence in Pattinapakkam, the strategy was finalized. Vijay’s alliance has reached the required 118 votes to form the government.
According to the report, TVK has 107 MLAs, Congress 5, CPI 2, CPM 2, and VCK 2 MLAs, with Vijay securing a total of 118 magic numbers.
The CPI Working Committee and the CPM State Committee have formally extended their support to Vijay. Two MLAs of VCK have also decided to extend their support to the TVK government. At 4:30 pm, all three parties will hold a joint press conference to formally announce the decision.
However, after the Congress, now with the support of the Left and VCK, it is only a matter of time before a new government is formed in Tamil Nadu under the leadership of Vijay. The swearing-in date may be clarified after the afternoon meeting with the Governor.
