Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ clears censor, soon to hit theatres: Good news for Thalapathy Vijay fans. The most awaited film of Tamil Nadu CM Vijay ‘Jana Nayagan’ will hit theatres this month. The film has cleared the pending censor certification process.
H. Vinoth directed political action thriller film has received an ‘A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification. Earlier, the film was scheduled to be released on January 9, 2026. But it was delayed by nearly six months because of the pending certification process. Filmmakers are currently planning to release this film on July 16. However, if this date is not possible, then July 23 or July 31 may also be considered. If a release in July is not possible, then filmmakers can plan for August 7, 2026, because this slot is vacant. However, filmmakers have not officially announced the release date of ‘Jana Nayagan’.
Before election Vijay has announced that he will bid farewell to film career. His last film will be ‘Jana Nayagan’. Now fans are eagerly waiting for theatrical release of the film.
