West Asia Crisis: Big meeting today on the West Asian crisis. Modi will talk to the Chief Ministers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will talk to the Chief Ministers of all the states today. In this meeting to be held through video conferencing, he will review the security of the country and the preparedness of the states to deal with the emergency. The Prime Minister will speak at 6:30 pm. He will discuss the Middle East war situation and preparedness.
The meeting will mainly discuss issues like fuel supply, food security and safety of Indians stranded abroad. The Prime Minister has called for coordination between the Centre and the states in the spirit of Team India. States may be instructed to be vigilant to prevent black marketing of essential commodities due to the war. However, the Chief Ministers of the states where elections are being held will not be present in the meeting. A separate meeting will be held for the Chief Secretaries of the states related to elections, which will be organized through the Cabinet Secretariat.
