3.8 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Telangana, No Damage Reported: A mild earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale struck Telangana’s Bhadradri Kothagudem district in the early hours of Sunday. According to the National Centre for Seismology, the tremors were felt around 2:26 AM, and the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres.

No casualties or property damage have been reported so far. Since the quake happened late at night, most people were asleep and did not notice the tremors. Residents in some areas felt light shaking, but the impact was minimal.

Experts say earthquakes with a magnitude between 3.0 and 3.9 are considered minor. They can be felt by people but rarely cause any significant damage. However, stronger earthquakes above 6.0 on the Richter scale can lead to widespread destruction and affect large areas.

Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation, but there is no immediate cause for concern.
