Odisha Women to Get Subhadra Instalment on August 28
Subhadra Yojana: Over 1 Crore Women to Get 5th Instalment: The Odisha government will release the fifth instalment of the Subhadra Yojana on August 28, marking the occasion of Rakhi Purnima. Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said the assistance will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of eligible women beneficiaries.
More than one crore women in Odisha are expected to receive the payment in this phase. Beneficiaries who have completed the application process and meet the required eligibility conditions will be entitled to the instalment.
The government has also decided to provide support to eligible women who could not receive earlier instalments for various reasons. After verification of their eligibility, such beneficiaries will be considered for the pending payments.
A special state-level programme is also being planned for the release of the Subhadra funds. The government is taking steps to ensure that the financial assistance reaches eligible women smoothly and on time.
