Pahalgam Attack: Suspected Terrorist Sketch Released

Terrorist Sketch Released –Sketches of the three terrorists behind the Pahalgam attack have been released. The suspects have been identified as Asif Fuzi, Suleman Shah and Abu Talha. Police said the sketches were prepared based on interviews with the injured and eyewitnesses. The sketches have been released by investigative agencies based on eyewitness information. It is being described as the worst attack since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019.

The attack took place at around 1:30 pm, when the tourists were resting in this picturesque meadow surrounded by snow-capped mountains and pine forests. Despite a strong security presence with multiple checkpoints and armed patrols in the area, the attackers managed to breach the defenses and create a ruckus at the tourist spot. The attack took place in Baisaran Meadow, a scenic area about 7 km from the resort town of Pahalgam and popular among tourists for its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere.

According to eyewitnesses to the terror attack, the terrorists, dressed in army fatigues, targeted their victims on the basis of religion. The attackers asked the people to recite their names and Islamic verses, then opened fire from close range.

After a few days of silence, terrorists have once again turned bloody in Jammu and Kashmir. They carried out a massive attack in the Pahalgam district at 3 pm on Tuesday. Members of Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) fired at least 50 rounds in Baisran, a major tourist destination in south Kashmir, known as ‘Mini Switzerland’ for its natural beauty.
