Alleged Sex Racket Busted At Parlour In Capital City: Police on Friday busted an alleged sex racket at a parlour in Bhubaneswar.  Acting on the complaint, police conducted a raid on the premises and rescued two women.

According to reports, the operation was carried out based on the victim’s complaint. The woman alleged that she had been searching for a job when she came into contact with the owner of the massage parlour, who reportedly promised to arrange employment for her at a star hotel. Instead, she was taken to the parlour, where she was allegedly forced into the flesh trade. The woman eventually managed to flee the parlour and approached the Chandrasekharpur police station, where she lodged a complaint detailing her ordeal.

In her complaint, she claimed that she was assaulted and threatened after refusing to engage in the illegal activities. She further alleged that the accused confiscated her mobile phone and clothes and intimidated her with threats to prevent her from escaping.

Police also rescued two women from the premises who were allegedly being confined there. Police detained the parlour owner and a customer for questioning and recovered some objectionable items during the raid.

The sex racket was operating from a massage parlour near Buddha Jayanti Park under the Chandrasekharpur police station limits in the city.
