Bengaluru man throws 11-month-old daughter in anger: In a shocking incident, a man hurled his 11-month-old daughter after a delay in her naming ceremony. The baby suffered a skull fracture and is undergoing treatment. Doctors are keeping a close watch on her condition.
According to police, the incident took place on July 17 at a hotel in South Bengaluru. The family had assembled to celebrate the baby’s naming ceremony. The ceremony was scheduled between 9:30 am and 10:30 am. But the joyous celebration turned violent after the accused, the baby’s father, reached the venue much earlier than his wife and her family members. The husband became angry and lost his temper. He insulted his wife and her family members in front of guests. When the father-in-law intervened, he snatched the baby from her mother and threw it away. The baby suffered a severe head injury. The injured baby was immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed a fractured skull. Now, she is undergoing treatment.
The police have registered a case under relevant sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Samhita. Further investigations are underway.
