The 12th edition of Nuakhai Bhetghat is expected to witness participation from a large number of Odia families across the UAE
CM Majhi invited for ‘Nuakhai Bhetghat’ in Dubai: In an effort to preserve and promote Odisha’s rich culture, traditions and spirit of unity among the diaspora, Nuakhai Paribar UAE is all set to organise ‘Nuakhai Bhetghat’ in Dubai. Nuakhai Paribar UAE extended a special invitation to the Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to attend the 12th ‘Nuakhai Bhetghat’ on October 4.
Working Committee of Nuakhai Paribar UAE finalized the date after following detailed discussions and consultations with members of the Odia community in the UAE. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has been invited to attend the vibrant programme. The organisers said that the invitation reflects the community’s desire to strengthen the connection between Odisha and the Odia diaspora in the UAE.
This will provide an opportunity for the Chief Minister to interact with the vibrant Odia community living in the Emirates. The 12th edition is expected to witness participation from a large number of Odia families across the UAE. The organisers are also planning a vibrant cultural programme featuring Odia music, dance and performances by local artists and children. Nuakhai Paribar believes that Nuakhai is not merely a festival but a celebration of Odia identity, togetherness, gratitude, brotherhood and community spirit. Therefore, Nuakhai Paribar UAE has appealed to the entire Odia community in the UAE to come together and celebrate the festival of Nuakhai with pride, unity and the spirit of togetherness.
