ED raids at 21 places in KPSC recruitment scam: Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) veterinary officer recruitment has sparked a major controversy. Enforcement Directorate has raided 21 places in connection with alleged corruption.

Among the 21 premises raided by the ED in the KPSC recruitment case, KPSC office, suspended chairman Sivashankarappa S.(Moneylender), KPSC member Shanta Hosmani’s house, and the locations of alleged middlemen(Ali and Sikandar) are included. ED teams are conducting search operations at these places. These raids are being conducted in many cities of Karnataka as well as in Ahmedabad.

Apart from this, the office of Edustate Solutions Pvt Ltd, the company which checks the digital copies of the examination, and the premises of some candidates selected for the post of Veterinary Officer are also being raided. These raids are being conducted in many cities of Karnataka as well as in Ahmedabad.

These raids are being conducted under the ‘Prevention of Money Laundering Act’ (PMLA). This action has started after the moneylender Shiva Shankarappa went to the High Court for bail.

According to the candidates, some people allegedly demanded up to Rs 80 lakh and assured them that they would be selected if they paid the money.
