In major cities like Delhi and Mumbai, the price of 24-carat gold increased by ₹820 per 10 grams. Gold and silver rates are currently fluctuating due to rising crude oil prices, higher bond yields, and uncertainty over the US-Iran agreement. Silver prices are also gaining attention because several types of silver have now been shifted from the ‘Free’ import category to the ‘Restricted’ category. This means silver imports will now require government approval.
