IPL Final 2026: Bengaluru Police Warn Fans Against Violating Public Safety Rules
RCB, GT Fans Alert: Bengaluru Police Issue Strict Advisory Ahead of IPL Final: Ahead of the IPL 2026 final between RCB and GT on Sunday, Bengaluru Police have issued a strict advisory for fans. The police have banned all public celebrations, bike rallies, and victory processions across the city. Strict action will be taken against anyone violating the rules.
The advisory comes after the tragic stampede outside Chinnaswamy Stadium on June 4, 2025, in which 11 people lost their lives during RCB’s victory celebrations.
Police have also banned live screening of the match on public LED screens outside malls, pubs, and other venues without prior permission.
Fans are not allowed to organise bike rallies, perform stunts, overspeed, block roads, burst firecrackers, or celebrate on public streets after the match.
Officials have also warned against public drinking, violence, and sharing rumours, hate speech, or provocative content on social media.
Supporters have been urged not to target or provoke fans of the opposing team. Bengaluru Police have appealed to everyone to celebrate responsibly and help maintain peace and public safety.
