Sonam Wangchuk shared a video message after discharge: Environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk has now been discharged from Medanta Hospital. He has given a special message to his supporters by sharing a video.
In a video message on ‘X’, Wangchuk said,‘ Hello everyone. Finally the day has come when I am discharged from the hospital. Now I feel much better than before. I am also eating food and strength is slowly coming back in my body. Will be going to Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and then back to the mountains. Thank you all and BIG THANK YOU to the wonderful team of doctors and staff at Medanta Hospital Gurgaon.’
Sonam Wangchuk went on hunger strike for 26 days in support of students at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.
