Trump returns to White House amid renewed Iranian threats: The tension between Iran and the US has increased in West Asia. Iran has put seven conditions in front of the US to end the war and has warned of a ‘decisive war’ if its demands are not met. Following this, the US has issued a high security alert for its diplomatic missions in West Asia
West Asia is witnessing renewed tensions, as military activity intensifies amid the deadlock in negotiations between Iran and the US. Iran’s security chief, Mohsen Rezaei told that Iran is in contact with mediator Qatar which has communicated it’s conditions for ending the conflict to the US. He said Iran is awaiting a response from president Donald Trump. According to Rezaei, Iran’s conditions include ending the war on all fronts, releasing its frozen funds and ending the naval blockade. Accepting these conditions are in Washington’s interest. Rezaei called Trump’s threats ineffective and said Iran is ready for decisive war. The US urged Americans to exercise caution in Iraq, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Qatar, Lebanon, Kuwait and Jordan.
Meanwhile, a high security alert was issued for US diplomatic missions in West Asia. After Iran’s statement, US President Donald Trump returned to the White House from Camp David on Saturday evening, ending his weekend stay early to resume official duties.
