YouTube Shocked Users Overnight , Premium Plan Rates Increased, Know The New Price Now : YouTube, the world’s largest video platform, has increased the price of its premium subscription plans. The company made the change without any major announcement, and users have only received information about it through emails. After this information, concerns about price hikes in the coming days have increased among Indian users. According to reports, the price of all YouTube Premium plans in the US has increased. The price of the individual plan has been increased from $13.99 to $15.99 per month. Similarly, the price of the family plan has reached $26.99.
Student and Lite plans have increased by $1 per month. Annual plans have also become more expensive. In addition, users who subscribe through Apple devices will pay more due to ‘platform fees’. This is said to be the second major price increase since July 2023.
So far, the price of YouTube Premium in India has remained unchanged. The individual plan is available at Rs 129 per month, the family plan at Rs 189 and the student plan at Rs 79. This makes our country one of the most affordable markets for YouTube Premium. Although the price has not been increased in India yet. But this move in the US indicates that the company may increase the price in other countries in the coming days. This has worried users.
