CM Yogi gives appointment letters to 912 youths: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday distributed appointment letters to 912 selected state police recruits. According to government data, more than 9.30 lakh youth have got government jobs in UP so far.
Appointment letters were distributed to 912 selected candidates in Lucknow in Lok Bhawan at 11 am. Candidates selected under Police Recruitment and Promotion Board Direct Recruitment-2023 participated in the program. Candidates selected through Direct Recruitment-2023 have been selected for the posts of Sub-Inspector of Police (Confidential), Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (Clerk) and Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (Accounts). After receiving the appointment letter, the selected candidates will start their services in the state police department.
Last month, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath handed over appointment letters to 3,572 newly appointed youths in the agriculture department. Addressing the programme CM Yogi Adityanath said, ‘ In the next six months, more than one lakh youth in Uttar Pradesh will get government jobs.’ Previous governments had appointed their own people in recruitment commissions and boards, which destroyed the credibility of the entire process. Uttar Pradesh itself became a ‘sick’ state due to the ‘sick’ thinking of the government of that time. Their way of working was corrupt and discriminatory. Hence, they failed to respect the energy, strength and talent of the youth of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi added.
Earlier there was corruption in jobs, there was nepotism. Now, transparency in recruitment process increases trust in governance.
