A massive fire broke out in the Muzaffarpur hospital. Short circuit suspected.

Muzaffarpur hospital fire: 4 died, over 20 rescued: At least four people died after a massive fire broke out at a private hospital in Bihar on Thursday. Around 20 people were rescued and admitted to the nearby hospital.

According to the officials, the fire erupted in the ICU of Prasad Hospital in the Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. The entire hospital premises were filled with chaos. Subsequently, the whole hospital was engulfed in toxic smoke. After receiving an emergency call around 3:55 am, the fire department rushed to the scene.

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary expressed grief on the “tragic” death of four people and extended his condolences to the families of the victims. He announced Rs 4 lakh compensation to the families of the deceased.
