Tiger Shroff Firing Case: Was Emraan Hashmi Also on the Hit List? What Mumbai Police Probe Reveals

Tiger Shroff Firing Case: Was Emraan Hashmi on the Hit List?

The investigation into the firing incident involving Tiger Shroff has brought more Bollywood names into the picture. On October 18, 2026, unidentified gunmen allegedly fired at the actor’s car in Juhu after his football session. Shroff escaped unhurt, but his driver and a bystander sustained injuries.

Mumbai and Rajasthan police arrested three alleged shooters in Kota the following day. Further arrests followed as investigators traced the alleged network behind the attack.

Emraan Hashmi’s Home on the Reconnaissance List?

A report published by Hindustan Times on October 27 claimed that the suspects had also been asked to conduct reconnaissance at Emraan Hashmi’s residence. However, they reportedly failed to find his house despite making local enquiries. Salman Khan and Aamir Khan’s residences were also allegedly on their list.

How Tiger Shroff Became the Target

Investigators believe the suspects turned their attention to Shroff after studying his social media reels. A police officer cited in the report said they learnt about his regular Sunday football sessions at Pushpa Narsee Ground in Juhu.

The information reportedly helped them identify a predictable part of the actor’s routine. The findings have raised concerns about how publicly available content can potentially expose celebrities’ movements.

Was an Attack on Emraan Hashmi Planned?

The reported reconnaissance attempt has raised questions about whether Hashmi was also being considered as a potential target. However, investigators have not established that an attack on the actor was planned or imminent.

Police continue to probe the alleged conspiracy, the motive behind the firing and the roles of those arrested. The allegations remain subject to judicial proceedings.

Security Tightened Outside Salman Khan’s Residence!

Security around Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai has reportedly been tightened following the incident. Reports have also claimed that the suspects conducted reconnaissance near his residence before the shooting involving Shroff.

However, the claim that Khan was the original target remains unconfirmed. Reports of RO commandos being deployed outside his home have also not been independently verified. The investigation continues to examine the alleged links between the surveillance attempts and the attack.
