Congress appoints Lalji Desai new AICC in- charge of Odisha: Taking a major step towards strengthening the organisation, the Congress has appointed new AICC in-charges for three states. The party has decided to implement these appointments with immediate effect.
According to the list released by the Congress, Sanjay Dutt has been made the AICC in-charge of Haryana. Lalji Desai has been appointed in charge of Odisha replacing Ajay Kumar Lallu, and Rajendra Pal Gautam of Uttar Pradesh. The party leadership is hopeful that the new in-charges will soon assume responsibility in their respective states and begin work on organizational expansion, coordination with activists, and strategies for upcoming political events.
The party is constantly engaged in the exercise of strengthening the organizational structure in various states. In this order, the appointment of new in-charges is being considered important. The Congress leadership believes that through strong organization, the party’s political activities and public relations campaign in the states will get new momentum.
